I love portrait photography and teh reason is simple… more time to create a beautiful image!
I am a true believer that a portrait photo can tell the viewer a story about a person just by the clothes the subject is wearing, the way they present, the environment the photo is taken in and of course the emotions displayed by the subject. to me portrait photography is so much more than focusing and pushing a button!
Portrait photography is a diverse area of work however I have come up with a system to please most.
Location shoots
Be it your house, the beach or a beautiful park, location shoots are my favourite!
During a location shoot I can capture both posed and natural environment images of the subjects to create a great mix of images.
The location shoot package is as follows.
- 90 minutes duration (Simon and assistant) in which time I capture what ever quality images present.
- Post production of images
- Images supplied on USB key for printing and web/email use.
- Package cost $295.00
Studio shoots
A studio shoot provides a supurb controlled environment for portraiture photography.
This is best for babies/infants/maternity shots or those wanting a professional portfolio of works.
The Studio shoot package is as follows.
- 60 minutes durationwith Chris and/or or Simon
- Post production with images supplied on USB key for printing and web/email use.
- Package cost $249.00

Just Shoot It!
For those who don’t want the bells and whistles to make your day complete, we offer an alternative. The ‘Just Shoot It’ package.
To maintain a level of professionalism I do not shoot without an assistant and all images are polished off in post production before being forwarded to you.
A ‘Just Shoot It’ package is $175.00 with a minimum 6 hours booking. Each additional hour at base rate of $175.00.
The package includes:
- Simon & assistant (second shooter)
- Travel within Sydney metro area (Blue Mountains/Wollongong/Central Coast add $100)
- Post production on all images
- Images available via online file server.

What a great wedding! The weather was simply out standing and the location was the Central Coast which meant a chance to get out of the city. Something I don’t do often enough!
This was the second wedding for the couple however they looked so in love you could have sworn they were high school sweethearts
The ceremony took place in Kantara House Green Point which was a very pretty little venue with lots of greenery and filtered light.
The ceremony finished with the release of butterflies flying off into the air. Normally butterflies need a few seconds to warm up but these guys flew away on cue!
The food at the reception was great (thank you Vicki and Steve!) and I had the pleasure of sitting with a country band who had me in stitches for a lot of the time!
